Unfortunately,
I don't have siblings. But I have a great amount of cousins: 4 boys and 3
girls, and I'm the elder among them all. But we see each other very rarely.
Except my little beloved cousin who lives not far from me. She is eight years
old, and when you have a cousin who is eight years old you have to be prepared
to answer every question which comes to her mind. And the thing is, those
questions never come to mind of a teenager or an adult, and more often I've got
no idea how to answer to them. However, thanks to her, I start to think on
serious subjects and spend next days searching for answers.
We spend
quite much time together. Sometimes I come to take her from gymnastic class,
and she tells me all her secrets and wishes. She is not a barbie-lover type of
girl, and I always hear from her: "I don't understand those girls who try
to do make up, wear accessories or somehow catch boys' attention, they are only
eight!" And I always feel weird and have nothing to say, because I
actually was a barbie-lover.
And I
cannot imagine my life without my cousins; moreover I love them more than some
people love siblings. So despite the fact I am the only child, I never feel
alone.
Oh, and
about the book. Did you like it more than the movie? I think they always change
details.
Have you
read the other parts? By the way, are you a big Harry Potter fan or you just
decided to read this book like "why not" ?
This post is a great work!

ReplyDeletegood job!
ReplyDeleteHi Dayana,
ReplyDeleteGreat post about your eight-year old cousin. You can make description more impressive adding details about her. Her name, the example of some questions she asks, the places you go, the games you play. Such details could be very powerful.
Keep writing,
Yours,
Marina
